Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

Inforeminder publishes reminder guides and offers an optional newsletter while account-based reminder features are being built. This policy explains what the site collects and how privacy choices affect analytics.

Data we collect

Newsletter signup collects the email address, first name, last name, ZIP or postal code, country, timezone, selected newsletter topic, source page, confirmation status, unsubscribe status, and basic anti-abuse metadata such as hashed IP-derived rate-limit data and user agent information.

Contact emails sent through your own email app may include whatever information you choose to send. Future reminder accounts are intended to use a verified account email address and may use OAuth sign-in details from enabled providers, such as Google, to create and secure the account.

How we use data

Newsletter data is used to confirm subscriptions, send newsletter email after double opt-in, manage unsubscribes, remember newsletter preferences, troubleshoot delivery, and prevent spam or abuse. Future reminder account data will be used to provide account access and reminder delivery only to the verified account email address.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the public newsletter form, and you should not submit sensitive information in freeform contact emails.

Analytics and cookies

Inforeminder uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-NJM9BWHYEQ only after analytics consent where consent is required. The site uses a first-party cookie and privacy choices banner to store your preferences in your browser.

Necessary technologies may be used for security, spam prevention, session management, newsletter confirmation, unsubscribe handling, rate limiting, and site operation. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on forms to reduce automated abuse.

Analytics events are designed not to send email addresses, names, or other direct personal identifiers to Google Analytics. Page URLs sent to analytics are stripped to the origin and path in site code to reduce the risk of query-string data being sent.

You can reopen Cookie and Privacy Choices from the footer at any time to accept all optional categories, reject all optional categories, or save category-level choices.

Google advertising features

Advertising-related Google consent signals are denied unless you accept all optional categories or enable advertising personalization in privacy preferences. Google signals, ads personalization, and user-provided data collection should not be enabled in the Google property until Inforeminder completes legal review, updates disclosures, and confirms any required consent controls.

Third-party processors

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and may use Cloudflare services for hosting, security, bot protection, storage, and rate limiting. Newsletter and transactional email may be sent through Resend or a similar email provider. Google Analytics may process analytics data when you allow analytics.

Retention

Newsletter records are kept while a subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain unsubscribe records, prevent abuse, and comply with operational needs. Security and rate-limit records may be retained for shorter operational periods. Analytics retention is controlled in the Google Analytics property settings and should be reviewed before enabling expanded analytics features.

California privacy rights

California residents may request access, deletion, correction, or information about personal information practices, subject to applicable exceptions. Inforeminder does not sell newsletter subscriber data. If future analytics or advertising features create a “sharing” or targeted advertising use under California law, Inforeminder should provide the required notice and opt-out controls before enabling those features.

EEA and UK users

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and other regions requiring consent, optional analytics and advertising-related consent signals should remain off until you grant consent. You can reject optional categories and still use the site. You may withdraw or change consent through the footer Cookie and Privacy Choices control.

Your choices and requests

Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in newsletter email. You may also request access, deletion, correction, or other privacy help by emailing hello@inforeminder.com or using the contact page.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the reminder account product, analytics settings, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes should be reviewed before enabling deeper analytics or advertising features.
